Meet John

My core belief as an educator is that I teach individuals. I do not follow a one-size-fits-all approach. Rather, I identify the necessary instruction and strategies each of my students requires to be successful. I expect the student’s best effort and I challenge them so they fully realize their potential.

As an experienced, OCT certified teacher with 15 years of high school classroom experience, I am in the best position to teach you the skills necessary for academic success and prepare you for the next grade/level.

Over the years I have taught the essential reading, writing and speaking skills to succeed at university. My students routinely earn exemplary grades and I'm proud when they tell me that they received acceptance into their first-choice university.

I have successfully taught hundreds of students and my skills, knowledge and years of teaching experience cannot be matched by other tutoring companies.

I possess a deep knowledge of numerous core texts studied in local elementary and high schools. I have taught these texts to hundreds of students over the years and understand the methods that best make reading these books engaging and enjoyable.
